Online Classes

Classes will be provided over the Zoom platform. Please register by completing the form at the bottom of the page.

Payments can be made on the web site or by sending an e-transfer. Email Lisa@sweetnessandstrength.com for information on sending an e-transfer. Other arrangements can be made for payment due to financial circumstances. Email Lisa to discuss further.

Also, check out the programs offered through the Town of Whitby 55+ Recreation Program. You can register for Yoga with Lisa – Virtual on Wednesdays at 7 pm. The session runs May 12 – June 9. The cost is $18.75 for the 5-week session. The program is available for those 55 years and over.


Stand up and Stretch – Mon. May 3 – 31, 5:15 pm (30 min)

Stretch and strengthen your body in this 30 minute Yoga class with standing and balancing poses. This class is designed for you to practice in limited space with limited or no props.

Teen Yoga Leadership Program – Tues. May 4 – June 22, 7:00 pm (1 hour)

Intentionally Me – This 8-week session focuses on moral restraints such as non-harming, truthfulness, non-stealing, and finding moderation. Participants reflect on values and learn how to establish a home practice for yoga. This class is suitable for ages 12 – 17. A workbook will be dropped off or mailed out prior to the start of the session.

Chair Yoga – Sun. May 2 – 30, 7 pm (45 min)

Stretch and strengthen your body and enjoy the benefits of relaxation as you practice from a seated position. This class is suitable for those with low mobility. Variations in poses are provided, so that participants can work within their abilities.
