Sweetness & Strength is now offering online yoga and fitness classes over the Zoom platform. See Online Classes for the class schedule. New to the schedule is the Teen Yoga Leadership Program.

Lisa currently holds a 500 hr. Yoga Teacher / Comprehensive Yoga Therapist Certification, a Fitness Instructor Specialist Certification, and a Healthy Eating and Weight Loss Coach Certification. Other certifications that Lisa has achieved include Active Aging, Restorative Yoga, Pre-Natal Yoga, Kids Yoga, and Together in Movement and Exercise (T.I.M.E.). Lisa also has a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology.

Lisa has been teaching yoga for the past nine years.  Her experience includes teaching at the Abilities Centre in Whitby and teaching Seniors Recreation Programs for Whitby and Oshawa. Lisa’s classes include different styles and techniques, including Hatha Yoga,  Restorative Yoga, Chair Yoga, Deep Relaxation, and Therapeutic Muscle Activation. She has also volunteered as a Yoga Therapist and Yoga Instructor, assisting children, teens and adults in improving their health and wellness.
